Mission Statement:
Our mission is to use STEM based methods to inspire students learning of science and technology using Robotics as a platform. We believe this kind of hands on learning provides students an education that excites, engages, and enriches their minds. We hope to inspire the next generation of students by developing a passion for any of the STEM based careers at a young age and maintaining interest throughout middle and high school.
Every student who graduates one or more of our program will have a clear understanding of Robotics plus STEM concepts and will either build or contribute to some future technology that brings positive impact or change to our world.
Our Robotics program provides a hands-on experience in solving real world challenges and exposes students to elements of physics, mechanics, electronics, programming, vocabulary building and much more. Robot is a machine that can sense, think and act on its own. STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) is designed to provide opportunities for skill-building based on development level.
About Us:
STEM4Bots as a program started in 2001, as an effort by our Founder Karthik Maddali to introduce kids to future Science (Robotics and Artificial Intelligence). He started Robotic training camp in a nonprofit service organizations for kids ages 8 to 14. He quickly realized the quest of kids to learn new technology in a constant evolving world of modern science requires a Robotics Programs that combines Open source Robots building and programming using STEM based learning.
What started out to be small training camp has resulted in educating more than 400 kids in Robotic Fundamentals/Robotics programming, kids participating and winning various Robotic competitions. His continued effort to educate the next generation has led him to build and offer multiple Robotics programs in various centers like Dublin, San Ramon, Livermore, Fremont, Sunnyvale and Cupertino, California.
